My Approach

Documenting the silence of sub-polar wilderness.

My photography is a study in patience. I travel to the world’s most remote corners to capture the elemental stillness of landscapes that remain largely untouched by human presence.

By focusing on the interplay between light and geological form, I aim to create images that serve as archival records of our planet’s most fragile and enduring environments.

Natural Light

I rely on the shifting light of dawn and dusk to capture the true essence of remote, untouched wilderness landscapes.

Wild Exploration

My work is born from long treks through Iceland, New Zealand, and Patagonia, documenting the earth in its rawest form.

Archival Quality

Every frame is composed with precision, ensuring the final print reflects the depth and silence of the original scene.

“LUMEN's landscape prints capture the raw essence of the north with incredible depth. The tonal range across the dark basalt tones is truly remarkable.”
